Join Monroe County NOW for our June Chapter meeting on Thursday, June 19, at 7pm via Zoom! During Pride Month we will feature the Bloomington LGBTIQ+ Community Center. This brand new organization exists "to support and enhance the lives of our diverse queer Family through the development of: safe and sober spaces for all, community engagement and education opportunities, programs and services that elevate and empower one another to lead healthy and fulfilling lives, and advocacy work for social equity and civil rights locally and beyond." MC NOW will welcome guest speaker Melanie Davis, who will give us information on the formation of the LGBTIQ+ Community Center and the board's goals. There will be time for a Q&A with Melanie.
