Join Monroe County NOW for our February chapter meeting! Our meeting will be 12-1:30pm at the MCPL, Room 2A. We are thrilled to have Celia Meredith of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law LGBTQ+ Project. We will have a discussion of identities, power and privilege, intersectionality, and LGBTQ+ realities. There will be time for audience participation and questions.

We will begin the meeting with our chapter business and Celia will then facilitate a discussion with our members and friends about the LGBTQ+ Project. The Project's mission is to provide "pro bono legal research and advocacy services to Indiana LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations and LGBTQ+ Hoosiers. The Project engages law students, attorneys, scholars, and LGBTQ+ advocates to address the unmet legal needs of Indiana’s LGBTQ+ community and support equality efforts of Indiana LGBTQ+ organizations."
