Please come to the Monroe County Council meeting on Tuesday 7/25/17 by 4:45 p.m. for a meeting that will begin at 5:30 p.m. to show your support of funding for Planned Parenthood (PP). (The Council is considering whether to continue grants to PP; we anticipate opponents will be speaking out against funding.)

We will be meeting on the south side of the Courthouse. The meeting is in the Nat U Hill meeting room (upstairs). Please wear pink, if you have any, so your presence is visible. Public comment will be allowed, but will be limited and exact details are unknown. Therefore, if you want to speak, please have a 30-second, 1-minute and 2-minute version prepared so you can select based upon how long each speaker is allowed. (Note: The amount of time each person will get is to be determined based upon the number of people who wish to speak.)

It's enough to stand and say "I support PP" or “I support PP because of...(personal experience/valuable service PP provides).” We will also have copies of talking points available.

You're encouraged to attend, wearing pink, whether you want to speak or not. Please also bring your NOW rounds, if you have them. Thanks for your support of Monroe County NOW and Planned Parenthood!
